Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Evaluations
Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is an common neurodevelopmental disorder that can affect all ages in their personal, educational, or professional lives. ADHD can present itself as Inattentive, Hyperactive-Impulsive, or a combination of both. It is not considered a learning disorder, but can affect academic development.
We provide ADHD Assessments through a neuropsychological evaluation for both pediatrics and adults. Our services can help develop a detailed report of the neuropsychologist’s findings, interpretations, and resources to support your needs. A diagnosis can also support academic, professional needs through reasonable accommodations per the Americans with Disabilities Act. At NCNH, we offer 2 types of ADHD Evaluations:
Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation:
Our Comprehensive ADHD Evaluation implements neuropsychological testing to discover if ADHD is affecting other aspects of thinking or memory. If there are concerns for other neuropsychological disorders along with ADHD, we suggest this evaluation. Our neuropsychologist will provide patients with their specific strengths and weaknesses through their detailed report so the proper supports can be put in place at school, work, or home.
ADHD Evaluation without Cognitive Testing:
Our ADHD Evaluation without Cognitive Testing consists of a comprehensive clinical interview, where we assess if ADHD is present. Our neuropsychologists can offer an ADHD diagnosis and report through this evaluation.
