Academic Accommodation Assessment

Standardized testing or licensing examinations induce a stressful environment that can hinder a student’s performance. Students with learning disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety, etc. can have their scores negatively affected by these exams which do not reflect their true academic ability. With the support of the Americans with Disabilities Act, we provide evaluations to aid in qualification of reasonable accommodations during their exams for persons with physical or mental disabilities.

Examples of reasonable accommodations include: extended time limit, increased font size, extended breaks, private testing rooms, assistive technology, alternate formats (larger font, braille, oral), use of an interpreter, etc.

Some examples of exams requiring comprehensive neuropsychological evaluation for testing accommodations include:

  • SAT

  • ACT

  • AP Exams

  • EPPP

  • MCAT

  • LSAT

  • GRE

  • BAR

Any nationally recognized exam with outlined criteria requiring current neuropsychological or psychoeducational assessment

It is encouraged that you make sure to check in with your specific national testing service for your exam for specific guidelines, instructions, and deadlines for accommodation requests.
